A short discussion on bondage.
Not a lot of detail. No safety warnings. Just thoughts on bondage, like 'WHY???'

Ok, i've been saving this page. i did't know why but now i do. Maybe it was something like karma....

Something that has come up is abuse and taking advantage. You're suposed to do that, right? i mean a Master is suposed to abuse and take advantage of his slave, isn't he?

That is not what bondage is about, at least in this girl's mind. i understand you guys thinking that i want you to just use me completely. That's not wrong and it's not right.

Let me try to find the words to explain....
A guy ties me up. What is that? It's abuse! Hey, but i like being tied up, right? So why's it abuse? Maybe it's not. Well, when is it abuse and when isn't it?

GOOD	It's good if he needs me so much that he just HAS to have me and i am willing. That means that i need him just as much.
BAD	If he needs me so much that he does not care or appreciate if i need him too.

GOOD	It is good if i am willing to give of myself 100%, that i can give 100%... Sometimes i WANT to do more but my inhibitions hold me back, bondage alliviates that condition, i can be FORCED to give like i WANT!
BAD	It's bad if i am giving because i think i have nothing to give and therefore i think i'm not losing anything.

GOOD

It is good that in bondage there are the mechanisms to give trust, take trust, and demonstrate trust, both the giving and the taking. (Not to mention the mechanisms to demonstrate and share love!)

BAD

It is bad in bondage if it isn't a sharing of trust, of love, but instead a taking or giving for one's own gratification. If it isn't consensual mutual gratification. A spanking, punishment, or any of it can be abused or it can be used - to good advantage. It's up to each of us to be honest and non-destructive in our lives. i think bondage teaches us that. All we have to do is learn and a smack on the backside ALWAYS gets my attention. "With understanding comes pain", ergo "With pain comes understanding." If i allow myself to be abused it's my own fault! ...and i don't believe in being abused!

Notice that all my points are in a grey area...

A couple of episodes by email have prompted me to finally fill in this page.

The tendency is there to stop taking orders. i don't want to do that. i think it's a good thing. It's a way for those who have had a good experience to share it. For those who had a bad one, a way to improve on it. For those who haven't tried it yet to get a feel of what it was like for me (i always write back and tell what happened when i did it). So i'm going to try to keep that feature going.

i know that as a slave i will from time to time recieve punishments that i either don't deserve or don't understand. i will do the punishment - gladly. i will trust, if for no other reason, to strengthen me. i will give TRUST! My ability to GIVE that makes me feel good about me!

Such is the lot of a slave - ain't it great? i think so!
